Newsflash
Yesterday all servers in the U.S. went out on strike in a bid to get more RAM and better CPUs. A spokes person said that the need for better RAM was due to some fool increasing the front-side bus speed. In future, busses will be told to slow down in residential motherboards.

The Power of One

Our "Power of One" segment features people who have become passionate about a cause and went "above and beyond" to make a difference. We will focus on individuals who have seen a need, found a solution and  set about to make a difference.  The people we will focus on  have done this more for humanitarian reasons than for reasons of personal financial gain. Internationally recognized, high profile examples would include Dr. David Suzuki, Mother Theresa, Princess Dianna and Terry Fox. They motivate and inspire others to achieve personal greatness. One person with a good idea, motivation and determination can be a force for good.

Pam and Toma are striving to be "Powers of One" in their personal lives. By combining forces in this show they are creating a synergistic effect that makes both  more effective and a greater force for good than either could be by them selves. This is "The Power of One to the Second Power." We are hoping through this show to  motivate  others to be a "Power of One" with similar goals and create a force of "the Power of One to the X Power"

The story of "The Power of One"

When you have been camping have you ever noticed that a single tiny mosquito can keep several adults awake all night?  The mosquito is persistant and constantly  buzzing around to remind us it is still there. If this same concept can be channeled into positive endeavors a lot of good can be accomplished. Mothers are famous for this with their children. There is a great film from a few years back that is great illustration of this concept and adds a different dimension to the concept. The film is "Pay it Forward."

"Pay it Forward." is the story of a boy who became convinced that the way to get people to help each other and do a lot of good is to "Pay it Forward." the idea is that when someone is helped, instead of paying back the person who helped them they are to help someone else as their means of  payment for the good deed that was done for them. The boy became a "Power of One" as the idea caught on and people started helping each other.

We are looking for people that are good examples of The Power of One"

Do you know someone with an inspiring story?
