 Dr. Bill Code M.D. |
Dr. Bill Code M.D.
Not so long ago, Dr. Bill Code, an MD, was diagnosed with painful multiple sclerosis (MS). He thought his normal life was over. After he and his nutritionist wife, Denise, explored everything they could find in the medical journals, they began to research integrative medicine. What they discovered changed Bill’s outlook and his life. Now it just might change yours. Dr. Code is an author. His books are Who's In Control of Your Multiple Sclerosis, Youth Renewed and his new book Winning the Pain Game Dr. Code has written articles for medical professionals and is an invited speaker at medical conferences. He also conducts teleseminars on MS, and other health issues. |
Will Adam on his trans Canada bicycle ride to raise money for MS |
Will Adam: He travelled to Victoria and back last Wednesday - by bike! He said it was a 19 hour day. He feels so light, cycling without the trailer. He met Greg Sam and really connected, and they decided to create a sweat lodge for him on Sunday. He says he has barely begun to absorb the fact of the voyage or its ending. Here's hoping that the time with the aboriginal healer will enable him to come to know his accomplishment. To complete Will's distance total: he travelled 43 kms from Vancouver to Nanaimo (not counting the ferry) and 152 kms from Nanaimo to mile zero in Victoria. That makes a grand total of 6966. PLEASE PLEASE DONATE TO MS. You can donate on line at Pay Pal on his site (though you don't get a tax receipt that way.) " The impact of his journey is not over. He has touched many minds and hearts. He has also raised a significant amount of money for MS and that continues to come, slowly. We hope for $1 for every km travelled. (close to 7000) The address on Vancouver Island is:
Central Island Chapter PO Box 304 Station A Nanaimo, BC V9R 5L3 but make sure to put in the memo space "RE WILL'S RIDE |
