On Tueday Jan 22'08 Dr. Paola Lake will be my guest and guest co-host our conversation will be regarding grief and how to find relief.

We will have two additional guests, Wendy Pratt and Rosemary Brown, who will be able to share with us what Hospice is and offers to our community, the self-care clinics that are offered as well as the training programs. The topic of conversation will be grief and the grieving process, how it is individual and unique for each of us as well as the manor in which grief can return without warning quite often.

Wendy Pratt - Executive Director of Nanaimo Community Hospice Society for the past 8 years.
NCHS has been serving the community for the last 27 years and Wendy says she has a real passion for this work and believes that the programs and services offered by NCHS truly make a positive difference in the lives of individuals facing end of life issues in our community and to the health and strength of our community as a whole.
Rosemary is a Bereavement Counsellor at Nanaimo Hospice. She companions youth and adults along their healing journeys after the death of a loved one. Although quite new to the Hospice movement, she loves what Hospice does overall and counts it a privilege to work with clients during this difficult time in their lives.

To refresh your memory about Dr. Lake check the Living for the Health of It show page from Dec 11'08.
I'm looking forward to sharing our conversation with our listening audience.
