The undertaking of developing a web site can be
an overwhelming task for a beginner. There are as many web designers
as there are web sites. There are so many ways to write the code

Step 1.
Selecting a name.
Once you
register a domain name you are stuck with it. Make sure it is a name
that says what the site is about. If it is a commercial site for a
well known business or product the choice is easy if not it needs a
lot of thought.
The domain name needs to say what the site is about.
It needs to be a name that is available.
It needs to be short and easy to remember.
It needs to be general enough to cover the intended content
for the site.
You may be thinking, Google, yahoo and other
such domain names do not fit those rules. True, but they spent a lot
of time and money building name recognition and made them common
household names. Do you have the time, money and manpower to do

Step 2 Selecting a
hosting company
There are many hosting
companies and packages. When selecting a hosting company make sure
it provides what you want.
